Tuition fees for Bilingual Victoria Saigon South School

  1. APPLICATION FEE
    • One-time, non-refundable, non-transferable fee for the administrative costs of each application and costs of entrance examination.
  2. REGISTRATION FEE
    • One-time, non-refundable, non-transferable fee, paid in full at the first enrollment.
  3. TUITION FEE
    • Tuition fee does not include service fees and fees for any international certification examinations.
    • Early Bird Incentive: A 05% discount will be given to all annual tuition payments in full made by 01 August 2023.
    • Biological Sibling Incentives:
      • 5% discount on tuition fees for the second child is applicable to the biological sibling.
      • 10% discount on tuition fees for the third child onwards is applicable to the biological sibling.
  4. DEVELOPING & MAINTAINING LEARNING PLATFORMS, SOFTWARE, AND APPS FEE
    • Annual fee, applicable to both current and new students, including:
      • Fee for learning apps/software/platforms.
      • The costs of the learning management system and e-portal service to communicate and keep parents updated on students' academic performance, conduct, and activities at school.
  5. DAY-BOARDING FEE
    • Day-boarding fee is paid for the whole term. Students enrolled after the Back-to-School date will pay a meal fee for that full enrolling week.
    • Day-boarding fee includes the costs of lunch, mid-afternoon meals, and day-boarding care at school. Day-boarding service applies to all Students at the School.
    • Day-boarding fee does not include breakfast. Parents who would like children to have breakfast at school, please register at the Admissions Office before the new school year or at least 2 weeks before the deadline to pay the next instalment.
  6. TEXTBOOKS, STATIONERIES, DAY-BOARDING SUPPLIES, AND SCHOOL UNIFORM FEES
    • Textbook and compulsory learning supplies fee:
      • Includes textbooks, compulsory learning supplies (if any) of the National Curriculum and textbooks, student's books, and workbooks (if any) of the Cambridge International Curriculum.
      • Fees for books and compulsory learning supplies are charged at retail prices.
    • Stationeries, day-boarding supplies, and school uniform fees:
      • Applicable to new students and includes stationeries, day-boarding supplies, and a uniform package.
      • School uniforms may be returned or exchanged within 15 days after purchase, subject to the condition that the uniforms remain unused with labels intact and the payment receipt is provided. The exchange of school uniforms can be made only for similar items.
  7. SCHOOL BUS SERVICE FEE
    • The listed school bus service fee is a two-way transportation fee (picking up and dropping off). In case a student uses one-way transportation (only picking up or only dropping off), the applicable fee of one-way transportation is 60% of the two-way transportation fee.
    • Biological sibling discount for school transportation:
      • Two-way transportation (same address): 20% discount for each Student.
      • One-way transportation (same address): 10% discount for each Student..
      • This offer is applied in conjunction with other preferential/exempt policies.
      • School bus service fee is paid for the whole term. Students enrolled after the Back-to-School date will pay the school bus service fee for that full enrolling week.
  8. HEALTH INSURANCE FEE
    • Compulsory health insurance is applied in accordance with the Compulsory Health Insurance regulations. The school will withhold the provisional payment, and the difference between the official premium due and the withheld sum will be calculated at the end of the school year.

  1. REFUND POLICY FOR STUDENT WITHDRAW FROM SCHOOL
    • Refund conditions:
      • Refund requests will only be processed when the School receives an official written application from Parents (with all supporting documents attached) at least 30 (thirty) days in advance.
      • Parents will receive the refund fee after 15 working days from the date the school approves the Refund Application.
    • For unused day-boarding fees and school bus fees, the School will consider refunding only when belonging to one of the two cases below:
      • Parents, students change workplace and/or relocate to another province/city/country, making it impossible for the Student to continue his/her study with the School.
      • Student lost his/her capacity to study due to an accident or illness.
    • Calculating the refund: According to the timelines and rates in the table below:

  2. DEFERRAL POLICY FOR STUDENTS WHO TEMPORARILY STOP STUDYING AT SCHOOL
    • Deferral conditions:
      • Deferral requests will only be processed after 15 working days from the date the school approves the Deferral Application (with all supporting documents attached) of Parents.
      • The deferral lasts only one school year; therefore, the Student need to return at the beginning of the next school year. When going back to school, if there is a change in fees, Parents must pay the difference according to the announced fees at that time.
      • If the Student is still unable to return to school in the next school year, after the expiration of the deferral, the School will refund 50% of the deferral amount and Parents need to submit a Refund Request with all reasonable supporting documents.
    • Calculating deferral amount:
      Tuition fee 100% of the remaining fee for a full school term or more. If students have attended any classes during one term, the deferral amount of that term will not be calculated.
      Meal fee 100% remaining amount in daily units, from 5 consecutive days or more.  
      School bus fee 100% remaining amount in weekly units, from 2 consecutive weeks or more.  
      • Note: In case, Parents have not completed other fees, the deferral amount will be deducted before the final deferral amount is recorded.
  3. REFUND POLICY FOR MEAL FEE, SCHOOL BUS FEE FOR CURRENT STUDENTS
    • Refund conditions & Calculating the refund:
      • Case 1: The Student is unable to attend school due to an accident or illness, the School will refund according to the number of days from 05 consecutive days or more from the date submitting the letter.
      • Case 2: In other cases different from Case 1, Parents must submit Application For Absent In School at least 03 days in advance..
      • The school will settle the meal fee and/or bus fee at the end of the term/semester and will deduct or refund in the next term/semester in the same school year. In case, the Student withdraws from school, the refund will be sent to the Parents via bank transfer no later than July 31, 2024.

  2. PAYMENT BY CARD
    • Parents can pay by card (credit or debit card) by swiping the card directly at the Admissions Office.
  3. VAT INVOICE
    • If Parents require an official VAT invoice, please advise the School and fill in the required forms at the payment time and the required invoice will be issued to Parents after 20 days from the date of payment.
