To motivate students to try their best and cultivate a passion for learning, Victoria Saigon South is pleased to award scholarships for the 2023-2024 school year.
A. VICTORIA SAIGON SOUTH WILL OFFER SCHOLARSHIPS IN THE FOLLOWING CATEGORIES
- GLOBAL CITIZENS, a 100% scholarship of TUITION FEES for students from Grade 1 to Grade 8.
The students granted this scholarship will become the official ambassadors of Victoria Saigon South, accompanying the school in the mission of spreading happiness and positive values to the community.
Victoria Saigon South received scholarship applications until the end of May 20th, 2023. Students are selected based on the following criteria:
- GLOBAL CITIZENS and IGCSE scholarships, students will sit two assessment tests: the Cambridge CEM assessment, and an interview followed by a presentation in English, where their language, critical thinking and presentation skills are evaluated.
- Arts & Sports Ambassadors scholarship has the following criteria:
* Students who have won awards reported by the mainstream media;
* Students who are influencers on social media with 30,000 followers or more;
* Students who pass the English interview round with a total score of over 90.
In addition, to ensure transparency, fairness and rights for both parties, Victoria Saigon South has some general requirements for the scholarship program as follows:
- Students are not allowed to use any scholarships offered by other schools or other sponsorships when they have received our school's scholarship;
- Parents and students agree to allow Victoria to appropriately use the student's photos and other text materials in our school's public activities;
- When requested, students will be the face of our school in competitions and become Victoria's ambassadors;
- Students must maintain a GPA of 6.5 or above;
- This scholarship is valid for the 2023-2024 school year. Depending on the student's performance throughout the whole school year, the school will consider granting the scholarship the following year;
- Parents and students pay an assessment fee of VND 3,000,000 (three million only) for their child to be granted the scholarship and will not have to pay the enrollment fee when enrolling their child in the core curriculum at Victoria Saigon South School.
Please apply for the scholarship as the following steps:
❖ Step 1: Fill out the online form posted on the website of Victoria Saigon South School;
❖ Step 2: After receiving the online scholarship application form, parents are announced the schedule for the assessment test and interview according to the scholarship program requirements;
❖ Step 3: Parents and students provide relevant proofs of achievement (certificate of merit, certifications, articles, videos, and photos of arts and sports achievements);
❖ Step 4: Our school will announce the results of the scholarship assessment within 02 days from the date of the assessment test;
❖ Step 5: Our school will announce the scholarship ceremony and sign a memorandum of understanding between our school and the student's parents.

1.1 Primary:
- Scores of Vietnamese subjects: from 9.0 upward
- Competence + Conduct: Good (Based on students’ learning records)
- GPA of all subjects in English: from 9.0 upward
1.2 Secondary:
- Scores of Vietnamese subjects: from 8.0 upward
- Good Conduct (Based on students’ learning records)
- GPA of all subjects in English: from 9.0 upward
2. For Arts and Sports Ambassador Scholarship:
1.1 Primary:
- Scores of Vietnamese subjects: from 8.0 upward
- 100% attendance of Arts - Sports and other media events organized by the school as the representative of the school
- GPA of all subjects in English: from 8.0 upward
1.2 Secondary:
- Scores of Vietnamese subjects: from 7.5 upward
- 100% attendance of Arts - Sports and other media events organized by the school as the representative of the school
- GPA of all subjects in English: from 8.0 upward
3. Value of Scholarships are maintained:
- For those students achieved 100% of the criteria: they will be considered to maintain 100% of the scholarship value
- For those students have not achieved 100% of the criteria: they are considered to maintain the value of the % Scholarship by % the total number of achieved criteria.
