On 16.07.2023, the seminar "Career orientation and college prep from 10th grade" organized by Victoria Saigon South School in collaboration with Thanh Nien News was a huge success.
Alongside Thanh Nien News, Victoria's educational experts also came to the seminar, including:

As a companion of many generations of students, teachers, more than anyone, understand that Grade 10 is an important milestone in each person's life, and a prime time for them to clearly define their goals, interests, passions and future orientation. During the seminar, teachers provided multifaceted perspectives surrounding the career orientation topic, helping them better understand their fortes, interests and competencies, thereby choosing an appropriate future profession.
Mr. Riaan O'Brient stated that, from the 10th grade, students should have an overall picture of their future career path. They need to clearly identify their strengths, passions and abilities to develop a detailed plan to realize their dream. However, they simply cannot do this on their own and need immense support from their family and school. An Victoria's educational programs and customized career counseling sessions for all students are our way of support on their journey of finding passion and building career.
Ms. Vo Thi Truc Quynh also claimed that career guidance has always been one of Victoria's main interests. As a new-build school based on UNESCO's “Happy School" model, our school's top priority is always the joy and happiness of all students. Victoria Saigon South School is aware that people can only be happy when they love their job and succeed when the job is compatible with their talents and abilities.
Therefore, our school does not stop at giving career guidance for tenth-graders, but we've also built a thorough, in-depth program called “Enterprise Education Experience", which gives students exposure and experience in a variety of professions and occupations right from Primary school. Victoria Saigon South strongly believes that first-hand experience will help children easily identify their strengths, weaknesses and the right career path.
The seminar ended in a joyful and cozy vibe after parents and students have received sincere and concise consultation about essential approaches, preparation and a clear-cut learning path, which helps them recognise the importance of career orientation.
